After many hours of deciding what to pack and what not to pack and with assistance from my mum, I managed to fill 2 rather large cases that comprised of pretty much my whole life! Once I was packed it was time to get to Gatwick hotel so that we could get some sleep before getting up at 5am to catch our 9:40 flight to Charlotte, NC. The flight wasn't too bad it was 7 or 8 hours to Charlotte and once we were there we had to wait for 5 hours before getting our connecting flight to Denver. Airports are so cool. . . for like half an hour then they are just about the most boring place on the planet! Any way we got our connecting flight to Denver which lasted 3 hours, it was much more comfortable then the long haul flight from England. How ever they didn't provide any food on the flight! What's up with that!
In the end after 16ish hours of traveling we arrived at Denver where we met our friends Curt, Robyn & Heather. From there we went out to eat in Denver at a place called 'The Spaghetti Factory' which was really nice and served all different kinds of pasta. Italian food is the best! After we finished eating we went back to Curt & Robyn's house in Colorado Springs which is roughly a 1.5 hour drive South of Denver. Once we arrived at their home I just crashed on the bed . . . . Then the next thing I know I am being woken up by glorious sunshine pouring in to my room. :D Man I love this weather, at the moment it's 3pm MT and it is about 30 degrees outside which is amazing as all their is is blue sky.
We are just about to go out to look for different equipment and resources that I will need while I am at college. So I'll catch you in a bit. :)
