College boy swag!

Ok, so I am going to start out with a 'my bad' for not blogging last week. I was really busy last weekend with class work, basketball, watching sports teams and going out. So yeah my bad. Haha. But at least this blog should be good. . . right?? :P
The week starting the 19th was pretty crazy as I had a reasonable amount of work to do for my classes. I believe I had like 3 or 4 essays to write along with studying for 2 quizzes but it's all good because I feel I did pretty good in all of them. Especially my English paper. I shoulda killed that one! Not really much else to say about my classes, they are all going well. :D
I have been practicing with the team more at open gym although my knee still feels powerless and if anyone drives off of my left leg it is difficult for me to stay with them. Although that is improving with every time I play. My knee feels better everyday and it feels amazing to get back to what I love to do. = Play ball!
Oh yeah I have to tell y'all that I have fallen in love with long boards. Haha. Quite a few people get around campus on long boards, I had a go on my friends board the other day and it was EPIC! Haha. I recommend that everyone have a go on one.
Oh yes, last weekend I got a visit from my American Parents (Curt & Robyn) they came down for a brief visit to drop my bicycle off. It's a pretty nice bike. It's like a hybrid so it's a semi race bike. Can get some decent speed on it. But yes I am thankful for that because it means I no longer have to walk to the store to get food! Haha. Talking about food. . . me and Rainie one of my college friends were trading cultures the other and we came to the topic of food, she couldn't believe I hadn't tried all these (weird) american foods like twinkies, honeybuns, fruit gushers etc! Also the concept of a peanut butter & Jelly(Jam) sandwich is just so weird to me! But I promised her I will try it. . . so I will update you on that goes. Haha. :D Slowly getting used to the U.S. culture, but there is at least one thing everyday that I discover about this culture.
This week was 'homecoming' week, which I am still unsure as to what that is. . . But basically there were all different sporting events. Also people run for homecoming royalty, this is where a guy and girl are voted King & Queen of homecoming. Not sure what that means but yeah, that was this week. :)
Next week I only have a 3 day week, as we have Thursday and Friday off for fall recess! Which means no classes so we have a 4 day weekend which should be pretty fun and wild. :D
Just thought I would mention that the weather here is still good, it's not as warm as it was but it's just as sunny. It's been around 25C/75F this week which is pretty nice. I am going to try and start taking more photos of American stuff so that you guys can see what's up. :D
One final thing, can you click the like button below once you have read this, it lets me know that you have seen it. :D Thanks. Deuces!
