Hey guys,
This weekend is Halloween weekend. American's go crazy for halloween like no lie. Haha. The floor in which I live has been decorated with ''blood'' on the walls and cobwebs and the lights have been covered over so it's really dim. Looks like a scene from a horror film like 'Saw' or something. It's pretty tight though. I will upload a picture of it later. So yesterday evening the Men's and Women's basketball teams ran an event for the Alamosa community, we basically set up about 15 tables with an activity at each table where the children were guaranteed to win candy. It was pretty cool. Me and my partner ran 'pin the nose on the witch' children seemed to like that a lot. Haha. An added bonus to this event is there was a stack of candy left over after the kids had left, which meant all the players went away with at least a 1 Lb of candy!! Haha.
Last night was a halloween party at Trujillo's (a club/bar in Alamosa) Me and some of my teammates dressed up as Nerds for the night. I will try and track down a picture of us so you guys can see. We looked pretty cool still though of course. ;)
Other than that stuff this week has been like every other week. I'm still catching A's on my essays so it's all good. :D
